Professor and Coordinator of the Feline Research Program at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute of Texas A&M University - Kingsville. My initial ocelot research in 1982 was under advisor Maurice Hornocker. I have supervised over 20 graduate students who have studied 10 species of cats, including the ocelot, bobcat, and mountain lion in the U.S.; ocelot, jaguarundi, and margay in Mexico; leopard in Africa; and clouded leopard, golden cat, marbled cat, and leopard cat in Thailand. I have published 73 scientific articles (including 58 on wild cats) and given over 165 scientific presentations regarding wild cats.
