The Balkan lynx population is the most endangered of all autochthonous Lynx lynx populations.
This is the more alarming as it most probably concerns even an own subspecies Lynx lynx martinoi.
One important precondition for successful and efficient conservation work is sharing knowledge
and experience.
The Balkan Lynx Compendium aims at
providing all relevant information available
and is a communication tool of the Balkan Lynx Recovery Programme.
