"MES took pictures of the Balkan lynx in Mavrovo NP"

The article is referring to the ongoing camera-trapping activities and the success of the MES team to picture the Balkan lynx for the first time with only 4 cameras. Camera-trapping activities will last until the end of April.

The main goals of the project as well as the description of the lynx is given in the next paragraph. Statement of Dime Melovski concerning the lynx population in the region and the main threats of its survival is in the following text. Next steps of the project (building the monitoring network, Conservation Strategy Workshop, National Action Plans) are stated in the last paragraph.
